SHUT THE DOOR
The world is an open door,
the more you look at it, the more it reveals
deep things that life have in store
which human minds bravely conceals.
life presents you with the good, the bad, and the ugly
i'd advice you learn from them all,
fake love surrounds the whole world it hurts, its so fugly
sometimes they make you feel life yields nothing further to recall.
do not remember days, remember moments,
especially those that take your breathe away
they sure create within uncountable merriments;
put your door to a close on unhappy moments, i'd rather say.
good friends are hard to come by
endeavour to embrace all who make you smile,
and those that your progress make cry
shut it on them and keep your mind agile.
