I'd rather
I'd rather,
Learn to love;
Than be a hater
Who lives in shattered peace and joy sadly not move.
I'd rather,
Accept challenge;
Than build up animosity and anger
In the fight for revenge.
I'd rather,
Remain true;
To myself and the generation after,
Than follow the part that lay the love deliberately untrue.
I'd rather,
Learn to follow my heart;
And move farther
Away from hurt that could tear me apart.
